I found Soup asleep under a planter on the deck today.

Not sleeping. Not resting.

Gone.

Curled up in the shade, cool as could be, snoring loudly enough that I had to walk over and make sure she was still among the living.

She opened one eye, looked annoyed that I interrupted her nap, and went right back to sleep.
