I had plans for this planter box. And the other 3 around it.
Soup also had plans. Guess which one won. I also now have zero planter boxes that don’t have cat-shaped indents in them.
She’s settled in like she’s been here for years, like she has taken root, and at this point, I’m just respecting the decision. The garden may not grow this season, but her comfort clearly will.
The Good Soup Chronicles: unauthorized renovations. I remember when gardening was easy. Now I do my best around a small cat who wants her comfortable places without humans redecorating what she has worked really hard on.
