The Good Soup Chronicles
Library Dispatch #36 | The Unseen Observer
Observation
Resident was discovered conducting surveillance from behind the library railing.
Resident appeared confident that her position provided complete concealment.
It did not.
Assessment
Resident’s understanding of camouflage remains questionable.
Her commitment to the operation, however, is admirable.
Staff elected not to interfere with the investigation.
Incident Report
During a routine inspection of the library grounds, staff became aware of a suspicious presence behind the railing.
Closer examination revealed one eye, approximately half a face, and a considerable amount of confidence.
Resident remained perfectly convinced that she had not been detected.
No attempt was made to correct this misunderstanding.
Library Administration believes it is important to encourage independent thinking, even when that thinking is demonstrably incorrect.
Soup’s Observation
