Anatomy of a Haunting | October 2026 Blog Roundup

Opening Letter

October started with a house. From there, things became a little less certain. The people inside couldn’t always be trusted. Old traditions had consequences. Survival didn’t necessarily mean escaping whatever happened.

October 2026 Blog Roundup

Inside This Month

Throughout The Anatomy of a Haunting, we looked at darkness from several directions. Not simply the things that frighten us, but the places, people, histories, and choices that allow something unsettling to remain. And somewhere along the way, we collected a few strange things, read some questionable books, and apparently brought some of the darkness home with us.

See You in the Shadows

Not everything we carried through October needs to follow us forward, but some things are worth keeping. The library never stays still for long. Next month, we’ll step into What the Hearth Keeps, gathering darker stories, quieter magic, and the things we choose to keep close as the nights grow colder.
