Resident was discovered beneath the library steps in possession of a large rock.

When approached, Resident maintained physical contact with the object and appeared startled by the interruption.

Ownership of the rock has not been established.

Resident’s intentions remain unclear.

The rock does not appear to require guarding.

Resident disagrees.

Incident Report
During a routine inspection of the library grounds, Soup was located in a shaded area beneath the steps.

She was accompanied by one rock.

Upon discovery, Resident immediately assumed the expression of someone whose private business had been interrupted and placed one paw firmly on the object in question.

Staff elected not to ask further questions.

The rock remains under Soup’s supervision.
